Very nicely done, Melissa. I will definitely try these tips with my students.

Do you have any tips for trumpet playing with braces? My daughter has been playing over four years and recently got braces. She packs them with wax, but she hasn't been able to get as high as she used to. Orthodontist gave her a little plastic guard to fit on to the braces, but it won't fit over the rubber band hooks.

This blog was designed to help flutists and any other wind instrument players who struggle to play with braces.  The exercises demonstrated in these videos helped me find my sound again in a relatively short amount of time.  I humbly submit this guidance to the collection of playing tips offered by other musicians in my position.
