Lessons in Music Theory

Music Theory is simply the study of how music works.  I like to think of it as the science behind any music performance.  Lessons are taught one-on-one using the method book you see here.  You will learn to read, write and analyze (by sight and ear) the fundamentals of music that are normally covered in a college level Theory class for freshmen.  Mastery of these skills will help you work with, and lead ,other musicians in your personal path in music.  Whether you're a middle school student just starting to learn how to play an instrument or an adult desiring to get back into music, this class will give you what you need to understand what you're doing with your talent, and why music works the way it does.
